In the face of the largest wildfire ever to scorch Texas soil, the Smokehouse Creek Fire, our team at RK exhibited unparalleled valor and tenacity. We immediately mobilized our resources, partnering with local Odessa companies, Sivalls and West-Tex Enterprises, to provide immediate and critical aid to the victims in the Panhandle.

Our first mission was delivering calf milk replacement to Plainview and Borger, TX, donated by Shorty Shaw Shorty’s Rental & Feed. In addition, we supplied over 25,000 lbs of donated emergency necessities including first aid kits, gloves, gauze, towels, batteries, coveralls, food, and water, all made possible with help from Hanna Conner at the Hutchinson County Airport.

Shortly after that we picked up a semi-full of hay – 39 bails to be precise – from New Mexico and delivered it to Panhandle ranchers who have generously taken in displaced herds of cattle.
